Paint Sample Flower Wall Art

My Master Bedroom makeover needed some art work
And here's what I came up with........
Materials
Canvas, Paint Samples and Modge Podge

I used three 12x16 Canvas.
I found these at a thrift store for $1.50 each!!
They are between $4-5 at craft stores.

I found Behr paint samples at Home Depot that
matched my color scheme PERFECT!.

Did you see the paint sample mosaic I made
 for my son's room HERE

I simply laid out the flowers on each canvas....I didn't use my spray adhesive because I wanted the ends to curl a little.
So I just put a tiny dot of glue under each petal to hold in place.
Then I dropped a big glob of modge podge in each center and  carefully fanned out to the edges with a paint brush.
I did 2 coats and done!

And my Master Bedroom makeover continues....
Next up a new headboard made from old shutters!!

~Please check my craft link parties tab for all the places I participate and MORE great ideas.~

Oh I LOVE these! They turned out great! I love using paint chips for art as well. Here's one of my recent creations:

You did so good on your trees!! Super impressed!!! I only did 1, I can't imagine doing all of those!! Good thing you had a projector!

Your room really looks beautiful. I am so impressed with it all - it is very professional-looking! Sure you don't do this for a day-job?
The canvasses are cute, but I really love the great chest of drawers (dresser?) and those trees are gorgeous! Hard to believe you painted those - they look like that very expensive wall-art that comes as stickers.
Looks as if the headboard will match the drawers. It's going to be fabulous!
You will never want to leave your bedroom again!

WOW, that is such a clever idea!! I like it even more than the paint chip art that I did (http://educatorssoliloquy.blogspot.com/2011/02/colorful-creativity.html), so I think I may steal your idea and try it. Amazing!!

I'm now following your blog and can hardly wait to see what other creative ideas you have up your sleeve.

How can you not be happy in this room. It is awesome, so dreamy, and wonderful. I adore everything you did in there. I want my room to be a peaceful place like this too. Now it's just a bunch of blahh. You did an amazing job with the paint samples, and it sure is nice how they look like petals.

SO I HAD TO FEATURE YOU. Come check out your post in my new sidebar section, you will be there until next week girl.

Thanks for linking up to **Amaze me August** @ Bella Before and After, I really appreciate the support girl.

Make sure you link up this week, I'm trying to reach 100 link ups, and help me by giving me some feedback with some things.

Hugs,
Bella :)
